What is Borosilicate Glass?
Not all glass is created equal.
Borosilicate glass is a special kind of glass that incorporates two naturally occurring compounds in high concentrations: Boron and Silica. The low coefficient of thermal expansion makes borosilicate glass more heat resistant than other forms of glass on the market allowing it to not crack under extreme temperature changes like regular glass.
Its durability has made it the glass of choice for fine dining restaurants, scientific laboratories, and upscale wineries.
